Our History

There is nothing more important than our health and the health of our families. For over 20 years the public have been using the same alcohol gels on germs that have developed and evolved with time.

At Advanced Formulations we knew there had to be a better, faster and more gentle way to protect our families. We set to work developing NO-GERMS™ Instant Hand Sanitizer.

NO-GERMS became the first alcohol free sanitizer in the world killing 99.9% of all germs. We have subsequently reformulated our product over 18 times to reflect increasing challenges in bacterial and viral infections.

We reformulated and tested our products against MRSA. Reformulated and tested again gainst Bird Flu H1N1. Then against Swine Flu. H5N1. We incorporated new actives to speed the kill time from 45 seconds to 30 seconds EN1500. We used actives that have been proven to kill Norovirus (something alcohol gels cannot do) and SARS. SARS being the closest relative to the new novel coronavirus out of China. (no commercial testing is yet available on the novel coronavirus at this time).

NO-GERMS™ Instant Hand Sanitizer has quickly gained a following around the world and distribution has grown from a handful of independent pharmacies to encompass almost all of the supermarkets, pharmacies and convenience stores in the UK.

We also supply the National Health Service (NHS) Hospitals in the UK.  One of our largest customers is PHS Direct who supply over 70% of all bathroom services in the UK.

We simultaneously launched into the competitive US market opening a distribution facility on the East Coast, with placement in Whole Foods Supermarkets, Bed, Bath and Beyond and over 14,000 independent pharmacies throughout the country. NO-GERMS™ is now rapidly expanding sales in the European Union, the Middle East, Asia and Australasia.
